Description

A delicious and healthy smoothie made with fresh spinach and frozen pineapple.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
  • Ice cubes (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Add the spinach leaves and almond milk to a blender. Blend on high until the spinach is completely broken down.
  2. Add the banana, avocado, frozen pineapple chunks, chia seeds, lemon juice, and ground ginger to the blender.
  3. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
  4. Add ice cubes and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for best taste and texture.

Notes

  • For a sweeter smoothie, add more banana or a splash of maple syrup.
  • Can substitute almond milk with any other plant-based milk.
