Description

A quick and delicious ground beef stir-fry served over rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.


Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Cooked white rice, for serving
  • Steamed or sautéed vegetables (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Serve beef over cooked rice. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
  5. Optional: Serve with steamed or sautéed vegetables on the side.
