Description

A delicious and creamy Italian sausage pasta dish made with spinach and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Short Cut Pasta
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 5 ounces Spinach (Roughly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to the package directions.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add sausage and garlic. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until the sausage is no longer pink, breaking apart into small pieces.
  3. Add in the heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for a few minutes until it starts to thicken.
  4. Stir in spinach until wilted.
  5. Add in the cooked pasta and mix until everything is well combined. Serve topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for easy meals.
