Crispy Air Fryer Apple Chips

Description

Delicious crispy apple chips made easily in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (cored, sliced very thin)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (or mix 2 tsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Core apples, then slice them very thin using a mandolin.
  2. Spray inside of air fryer basket with non stick spray, lay apples inside trying to overlap them the least amount possible.
  3. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon or cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Set to 300 degrees F and cook for 10 minutes total, flipping after 5 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool and harden before eating.
  6. Tip: Open basket after 1 minute and if slices are flying around in the basket you can place a metal rack or trivet on top of them to avoid that from happening.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the apple slices are as uniform in thickness as possible.
  • You can experiment with different spices for variation.
