Description
Deliciously smoked chicken leg quarters seasoned to perfection and served with barbecue sauce.
Ingredients

- 4 Chicken leg quarters
- 2 Tbsp Head Country Seasoning or your choice
- to taste Barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel, then add the seasoning to the chicken and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
- Add the wood chips and warm up the prepared smoker to 240°F.
- Place the chicken on the smoker with some space in between.
- Smoke the chicken for around 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours, checking the temperature to be sure they get up to 165°F internal temperature. Use a meat probe or thermometer.
- Remove from the smoker.
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes then coat with barbecue sauce before serving.
Notes
- Be sure to check the internal temperature of the chicken to ensure it is fully cooked.
- Experiment with different seasonings for a varied flavor.
