- 2 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (Can substitute with avocado oil.)
- 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar (Substitute with honey for a different flavor profile.)
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt (Adjust based on salt type used.)
- 1 teaspoon Sweet Paprika (Use smoked paprika for added depth.)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (Consider using fresh minced garlic.)
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper (Adjust to taste.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and position the rack in the center.
- Combine ingredients in a small bowl by mixing the brown sugar, kosher salt, sweet paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Prepare the salmon by placing it skin side down on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over it.
- Coat the salmon evenly with the spice mixture, rubbing it thoroughly over the entire surface.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
