Description

A refreshing fruit salad that combines sweet grapes and apples with a delicious cinnamon orange dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups red seedless grapes, halved
  • 3 cups green seedless grapes, halved
  • 2 medium red apples, chopped
  • 2 medium green apples, chopped
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash your apples and grapes thoroughly. Halve the grapes and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. If you like your apples with the peel on (I always do for extra color), leave them as-is. If not, peel away before chopping.
  2. Keep apples from browning: Place chopped apples in a bowl and toss them with the lemon juice. This keeps them fresh-looking and adds a touch of tartness.
  3. Make the cinnamon orange dressing: In a small bowl or jar, whisk together orange juice, honey, cinnamon, and orange zest. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved and the dressing is smooth and fragrant.
  4. Combine everything: In a large serving bowl, gently mix together the grapes and apples. Pour the cinnamon orange dressing over the fruit and toss lightly to coat. Let it sit for about 10–15 minutes before serving, so the flavors can mingle.
  5. Serve: Enjoy the salad chilled or at room temperature. It tastes best slightly chilled but not too cold. You can refrigerate it for a few hours before serving.
