A creamy and delightful peppermint mousse, perfect for the holidays!
Ingredients

- 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup crushed chocolate cookies or graham crackers
- whipped cream, for topping
- crushed candy canes or peppermint candies, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract; mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.
- Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until light and fluffy.
- Spoon a layer of crushed cookies into the bottom of serving cups.
- Pipe or spoon mousse over the cookie layer.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes just before serving.
Notes
- This mousse can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Substitute any flavored extract if you want to try different variations.
