Instructions

- Make Brownie Batter: – In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. – Add the sugar and stir until well combined. – Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder and salt. – Add the vanilla extract and mix well. – Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. – Stir in the flour until just combined.

- Prepare Mint Layer: – In a mixing bowl, combine ½ cup softened butter, peppermint extract, powdered sugar, and green food coloring. – Beat until smooth and creamy. – Spread evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Create Chocolate Drizzle: – Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth. – Drizzle over the mint layer.
- Chill and Serve: – Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the mint layer is set. – Cut into bars and garnish with fresh mint if desired.
