Description

A refreshing blend of ginger, lemon, and orange that gives a boost of energy and wellness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ pound ginger roots (washed)
  • 1 orange
  • 4 lemons
  • 12 tablespoons honey
  • ½ cup cold water or coconut water
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. If using a juicer, add all the ingredients to your juicer and juice them.
  2. Pour them into 2-ounce shot bottles.
  3. Place all the ingredients into a high-powered blender.
  4. Blend well until everything is fully blended.
  5. Grab a bowl and place a cheesecloth over it. Pour the mixture into the cheesecloth and squeeze out all the liquid.
  6. If you do not have a cheesecloth, place a sieve or fine-mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the mixture through it to separate the pulp from the liquid. Press the mixture well with a spoon to extract all the liquid. You can squeeze the liquid out. Discard the pulp so you’re left with just the liquid.
  7. Pour the lemon ginger shots into small 2-ounce shot bottles. Store in the fridge and serve when ready. Keeps for 5-7 days.

Notes

  • This recipe keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
  • For a sweeter shot, adjust the amount of honey to taste.
