- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by sliced pepperoni.
- Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges by pinching them together.
- Brush the top with an egg wash and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add additional spices to the sauce or cheese.
- These can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
