- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup refried beans (canned or homemade)
- ½ cup salsa (mild or spicy)
- 1 cup chopped iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat and season with taco seasoning.
- Warm the Tortillas: Heat tortillas in a separate skillet over low heat for about one minute per side.
- Assemble the Burritos: Spread refried beans on each tortilla, add the beef mixture, and top with salsa, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.
- Roll Them Up: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly into a burrito shape.
- Optional Baking: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), place assembled burritos in a baking dish, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for about 10 minutes until bubbly.
- Serve and Enjoy: Plate hot burritos with extra salsa or guacamole for dipping.
