Description

A delicious and creamy pasta dish with grilled chicken, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 300g spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
    – Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
    – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
    – Remove from the skillet and let rest. Then, slice the chicken into strips.
  2. Cook the Pasta:
    – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
    – In the same skillet, add butter and melt over medium heat.
    – Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
    – Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until smooth and cheese is melted.
  4. Combine:
    – Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat well.
    – Arrange the sliced grilled chicken on top of the pasta.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    – Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the dish.
    – Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding a bit more cream or pasta water as needed.
  • Ensure the Parmesan is freshly grated for a smoother sauce.
  • You can add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for more nutrition.
