Description
A delicious homemade blackberry jam made with fresh blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Rinse blackberries and place in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Crush berries gently as they warm.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, zest, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat.
- Simmer 20–25 minutes until thickened.
- Cool slightly and transfer to jars.
Notes
- Store jam in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Can be canned for longer storage.
