Description
Enjoy your crispy honey garlic chicken tenders!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken tenders with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Set Up Breading Station: In one bowl, place the flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Bread the Chicken: Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are fully coated. Finally, coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Fry the Chicken: In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken tenders in batches, cooking for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and white vinegar. Bring to a simmer, allowing flavors to meld for about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Coat the Chicken: Toss the fried chicken tenders in the warm honey garlic sauce until well coated.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double fry the chicken tenders.
- You can adjust the sweetness of the sauce by adding more or less honey.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
- Serve with a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
