Description

A deliciously creamy pasta dish that combines bowtie pasta with ground beef and a rich cream sauce, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. Cook the Beef – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  3. Prepare the Sauce – Add beef broth to the browned beef and reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine Pasta and Sauce – Add the cooked pasta to the beef and cream sauce. Stir until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  5. Serve – Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine before simmering the sauce.
  • If you prefer a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes while cooking the beef.
  • Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
