Description

This creamy broccoli pasta is the perfect comforting meal, packed with fresh broccoli and rich cheeses.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets (fresh)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0 cup milk
  • 0 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 0 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Blanch broccoli for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain.
  3. Melt butter with olive oil in a skillet. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add cream, milk, and cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
  5. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted.
  6. Add pasta and broccoli. Toss gently, loosening with pasta water if needed.
  7. Season and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add more cheese to the sauce.
  • You can also use frozen broccoli if fresh is not available.
